Okay, why didn't I update last week you're probably asking? Well, that's because I was home, where I wanted to be, with my family and my other half, Jill. I didn't want to draw, and I really didn't have time, so I didn't. The comic was put on hold while I had some really great food and watched some great movies, and was finally introduced to Halo by a bunch of good friends of mine.
Having never played Halo, I watched for a while, then took over a spot in a 4v4 CtF to 5points game. I was on the Blue team in Blood Gultch. We were pretty much all newbs while Red were old hands at the game. Nevertheless, they gave up after we scored our second point, taking the lead and demoralizing them. Of course, their sniper had about 75 kills at the end of the one hour period, but hehe, I got put in charge of keeping the sniper's nest clean. What fun! I did manage to snag the flag once as well, while Red was pulling an offense at our base, I took a warthog, went down the area on the opposite side of the field, grabbed the flag and ran it back on foot to our base. Then I had to wait while our flag was retrieved before I could score, but I got a ponit!
I have to go, tired I am, and classes tomorrow there are . . . cheerio!!!
